Burnt clutch

Hey guys I'm new here! Anyway I have an'06 330i with about 87k on it! I left a friend drive it the other day and when he was done it smelled like burnt clutch pretty bad! Do I have anything to worry about? I haven't had the car very long but never smelled it before!

Don't let your friend drive your car EVER again. One (hopefully) minor clutch roasting won't kill the clutch unless it's had the shit beat out of it already. Just drive it properly and don't abuse your car and it should last a long time.

My wife took off in third two times in the same trip (I was shotgun) and there was clutch smell for sure. She's since mastered the art of it. 108K miles on original clutch, still feels nearly new...
