Idrive,sportpackage,comfort access? help

I have a 2007 335i e92, as I can tell it has creamish leather seats( with power seats w/power everything except the edge where the back of my knees are, I can adjust this part of my seat to make it sorter or longer depending on leg length by hand) 18 inch wheels,Paddle shifters(steptronic) navigation, heated seats, fold in mirrors ,garage opener buttons, sunroof, lights on door handles,SOS button,USB port under the center arm rest w/ aux earphone jack and a usb which came with a small connector for my ipod.Im not sure if it came with the car as my car is used but its short and black with two lines connected to one on each side.

As far as I know it has premium package and winter package, unsure about sport package and comfort access.Positive it has Idrive

So basically I want to know how to tell if my car has sport package, comfort access and idrive.

IDRIVE:So considering I have a navigation Im positive it has I drive. The reason I ask if because I read if you have a usb port under arm rest its not idrive and that option is not available in the usa. well Im here and so is the car .made no sense Im positive I have idrive if I have nav.

COMFORT ACCESS: also finding out if a car have comfort access is as easy as putting a key in your pocket. Grasping the handle and pressing(touching) for 1 sec above the keyhole,I cant get it to work.I also tried starting the car with out the key in hole by pressing the brake while in park and no start.but I also read you must have the original key fob.My car was used and only came with one key so what if its not the correct key? is this true?I have lights on my door handles also why would a fully loaded car with every option leave this out?

SPORT PACKAGE:My car has 18inch 189 oem wheels,it has paddle shifters, and its automatic.Has leather seats with power everything with 2 auto modes. The only part that is not power is the edge by knees for leg length.I read all coupes have sport package.I also read that all dont very confusing.I also read the sedans have a oil cooler under the hood to verify but coupes dont .Again why would my car have paddle shifters, trac control and 189 wheels if it wasnt sport package, car was used dealer didnt know anything about the car.I figured when I bought it that it did have sport package from what I read before hand did alot of research.

I dont understand why BMW would make it so confusing to add certain options and loaded cars can be missing option.they should have a base entry level and a full option level .Why is it all so confusing. I saw a car with navigation and everything else was so basic like why would you want that its either get it all or get nothing how many cars did they have to build to make everyone happy gosh.

Please dont troll me these are genuine questions,Ive been searching ,reading is what brought me here from confusion from how people tend to contradict them selves .I dont mean to make this post but as some can tell Im really trying to learn about these cars I come from a FI V8 background so bear with me thanks.-Denise

Navigation= iDrive. I think on the F30 models it's possible to get iDrive without Nav but not the other way around

Comfort Access= Easiest way to tell is there should be 3-4 raised lines on the driver and passenger door handle.

Sport Package= You have sports seats based on your description of the thigh extension.

Or enter your VIN here and it will generate a list of options on your car http://bmwvin.com

Yes, that's the 3 series, sport package steering wheel. Other BMW models (5 series, 7 series, etc) w/ sport package have different steering wheels...

He may also be thinking of the "M Sport" package.

If you read previous post it was stated "if your door handle has 4 raised bumps it has comfort access".
Also you can try starting your car with the key fob not in the slot. Thats a pretty easy way.

And im TOTALLY jealous of your $100 bills! You must be a billionaire to have that kind of money

But he asked (or somebody did) about a different steering wheel. I believe the M Sport package comes with the M steering wheel, right? So he would be confused if he assumed the "sports package" came with a different steering wheel from standard.

Garage List
You have the premium (ZPP) and sport packages (ZSP) with heated seats and nav. You don't have comfort access.

Sure seems like a troll to me....

If you wanted to know answers like... Does my e90 have comfort access

www.google.com

Type in.... Does my e90 have comfort access

Hit Enter

If you look for more than 2 seconds you'll see a post on bimmerforums that is called "How to tell if a vehicle has comfort access?"

Use common sense rather than ask dumb questions like you've been doing all over the forums already.

As.I said above I got the car used and I wasn't sure because I read you must have main key to make it work when I tried to do it ,would not work I thought maybe it was because I was given one key upon purchase. Funny how you can call me a troll hAha I won't let it brother me . I really appreciate those who helped me find the answers to my questions thanks !!! Hope this thread helps someone else out.

I like how new members with less than 100 posts are calling me a troll people like you should be banned for being negative and having no contribution to a post and only post to troll by calling someone else a troll kinda contradicting no wonder why people told me to stay away from here kinda seeing why.I'm a little more mature than to be trolling people. Really doesn't bother me though just saying people who take internet serious have issues with making real friends that's all .

Please forgive the board- it's pretty unusual for someone to own such an expensive car and not really know what they actually have. Why would you pay that kind of money and not know what you are buying?
