Which car to get as daily driver??

Looking to replace my M3 with something else next month when i get back to HK....

so i'll need a new daily driver, since the car replacing the M3 wont be used to be driven daily, it will be used for partying and weekend only (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

i've narrow down a few choices

1) Next Gen Honda Fit RS (est $180K HKD)
+ Cheap on gas, tons to mod, pratical, easy to drive in tight spaces in HK
- slow, need alot of mods to make it fun, everyone will buy one

2) FD2 Civic Type R ( 290k HKD)
+ looks nice, fastest FF Type R, lots to mod
- too fly boy feel, 300k for a Civic....

3) used 130i (est 220k HKD)
+ i like the style of the hatch, BMW quality, powerful 261HP version
- interior is too small, can not fit golf bag

4) wait for used V36 Skyline 370GT Coupe (new: $4xxk - used in a year: $2xxK)
+ fast, cheap, well equiped
- will have to wait at least a year or two before they start showing up. this car depreicate too quickly, much better deal to buy used

I would go with either Honda you posted. IMO daily driver should be reliable, cheap to maintain.

i would love to, but I already had it for 5 years and tons of little problem are coming up. one being you know how the window goes down a little bit when u open the door? mine goes all the way down and up

I was originally gonna get the E92 M3 to replace the E46, but with a 70% price hike, its not an option. I got a 997 Carrera S instead.

Another options i'm thinking would be EVO-X, but i'm guessing it would be twice as much in price as a new Fit. The really plus about the EVO-X is that it comes in DSG, which would be great as daily driver and not lose out on performance.

For the Honda Fit and Civic Type R, automatic is not an option. But the 2 hondas are very interesting in terms of options and trim... especially being in north america for so long, i've always wished to get a car in full JDM trim with all the JDM goodies they offer.

either way, all the cars on my list other then the G37 is currently not avaliable in North America. Thats one of my concern as well lol

^Why not a G35? I prefer the G35 to the G37 albeit it is not as fast. BTW I would pick a 997 S over the new M3 too!

most G35/Skyline sedan sold in hk uses the 2.5L V6, so its not too interesting, plus the resale value suck even more. I think i'm too young to drive a large sedan in HK... they are for like 35+ family men

1 series hatch is almost the same size as the Mini.

another car i can consider would be the R56 JCW Mini Cooper S

was just checking bmw.com.hk
and apparently they have E93 in lower models....

i never consider even looking at it since the only E93 i thought they had was the 328i and 335i and those would be over my budget for the daily driver. but in hk, they also sell the 320i and 323i in hardtop convertible.... pricewise is still in the 4xxk mark so making it slightly more expensive.

maybe i can sacarfice some power and join the E9x family for once....

I don't know how tall your clubs are, but my dad can fit his bag (minus drivers) in his Z4 trunk - puts the woods in the passenger seat.
Doesn't the 1er have a folding rear seat?

I would go for either the used 130i, the Mini, or the Fit.
