18" Forgestar setup E92 pre-LCI M-sport
I've been searching through many posts; this subforum is very information rich. Unfortunately, I haven't found a concise answer to my admittedly straightforward question.
I drive a 2010 E92 M-sport pre-LCI. I currently have OEM 19" type 225 wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Specifically, they are: Type 225 Front: 8x19 ET 37 Tire: 225/35/19 Rear: 9x19 ET 39 Tire: 255/30/19 I'm thinking about switching to Forgestar wheels, particularly 18" wheels, and would be mounting Michelin PSS either way. What are the maximum front/back wheel/tire sizes that I could use in either 19" or 18" on this car without readjusting fenders, suspension or camber? Much appreciated. |

Great, thanks--
With those increased dimensions on the tire width/aspect, can I increase my wheel size front/back by 0.5" each from OEM 8"/9" front:back to 8.5"/9.5" front:back without causing rubbing? For example, when I use the calculator, with same offsets, a 9.5 rear wheel would extend 6mm extra inside and outside, while the overall dimension falls within 1%. Thanks again |
