Low temp thermostat. Thoughts?

Hey guys. I was browsing around and came across this.
http://www.burgertuning.com/low_temp...W_135_335.html

I used to have something similar when I used to own a srt4 and it really helped keep temps cooler, and better consistant power. What are your thoughts for the BMW platform 335i?
Reason why I ask is obviously this is a much more sophisticated car than my old srt4. Do any of you guys have experience with this product?
Thanks!

Interesting, as its not a replacement coolant thermostat, but an oil bypass.

I believe stock the ECU prevents oil from circulating through the oil cooler(s) until the engine's warmed up.

From what I've been told by BMS it keeps the oil flowing 100% of the time instead of it opening up at temps above 200F. He did also mention that the low temp thermostat should be limited to minimum outdoor temperatures of about 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm just curious if anyone here has it and could vouch for its effectiveness.

I would believe during the summer northern states would benefit as well. Beside once winter hits its a quick fix to reinstall the original thermostat.
