Please Help ASAP Square setup ET30

I am looking at getting some custom wheels made up.

I am going with a 9.5" square setup and it will be an 18" wheel

I am curious if ET30 will work all the way round without any issues? Would i have any rubbing issues on the front? Should i be fine?

It will be 5x120 fitting.
What size should the hub be?

I am desperate in need of quick help as i am here abroad and i have a day to confirm the sizes.

Many Many Thanks!

Yes it's possible.
Your hub is 72.6.

Front with 235/40/18 18x9.5 et30 is fine. I have apex arc8 18x9.5 et35 with 235/40/18 at front and no rubbing or any other modifications.

a little bit, this has been discussed many times.

You can even go more aggressive if you want like 9.5 et20

What tyre size are you going to use at rear?
You have Pre-lci E90 so you should get more lower offset to rear or spacers.Otherwise front will be more out than your rear.

I have 18x9.5 et22 with 235/40/18 at rear for now, but for next summer i will add 10mm spacer so final et12.

Thanks you for your help!

But there has unfortunately been a slight change of plans. They could not make a 5x120 setup as they failed QC stress testing.

I am desperate to run these rims! So I found some hub adapters that work with the 114.3x5 BUT they are 20mm thick.

The wheel company said they are attempting to make them with an offset of 50.

Would this basically be the equivalent of running a 5mm spacer over stock?

I am still looking to run the 9.5" square setup.

All your help is appreciated as I only have one chance of getting these right.

Regards

What wheels are you thinking?

The thing is it probably won't look the same with offset 50, it may loose some concavity etc. Depending on style of the wheel, but yes et50+20mm adapter= et30

I wouldn't use that thick adapter/spacer just to get the wheels fit. What about rear, if you decide that the et30 isn't enough and you wan't lower offset then you have to find even thicker adapter.

I wouldn't do it.I would find similar wheels with better specs. Oh and i just realized that all my examples where E90 and you drive E92. So here

Why is it a bad idea? I was running 20mm spacers on the rear when I had my stock mv3s. I had no issues.

There are no rims which are similar in design unfortunately. The closest would be volks te37. But this has a kuch fatter lip.

There probably isn't any problems and i don't think it's bad idea, if you really want the wheels. It's just my opinion.Maybe it's because around here spacer/adapters are illegal.

Can you show a picture of the wheels?

Yes they do, at least i think so, from 5x98 to 5x130 doesn't the 5x120 fit between those.

For 9.5 they offer et30 which is good to front and for the rear i would choose et18.

Would you consider 18x9.0 ET31 hub centric wheels?
