? about Eisenmann exhausts

Why is it the meisterschaft looks just like a polished factory unit without a butterfly valve on the left muffler?
I absolutely realize there is a difference, I am just curious as to why the outer case looks nearly identical.

Any input?

Yes I did, I tried searching on e90post, google, ask jeeves etc... I just have a feeling that no one knows and most rely solely on internet speculation.

It was covered over and over but here you go:

Eisenmann makes exhausts (OEM) for a number of exotics and high - end aftermarket part providers.

Stock 335 exhaust is designed so that airodynamics under the car is smooth and the airflow is correct at high speeds . In order to keep the Cd as it was designed by BMW, the exhaust has similar shape to stock exhaust.

Thanks I appreciate the explanation. It looks OEM because they are an OEM manufacturer, for other companies.

ya but its because of the aerodynamics of the car.

If you change the canisters, example most of the other exhausts, it changes the surface under the car. Changing the airflow, creating drag.
