I have H&Rs on the Roadster. But I have had Eibachs on four other cars. Never had a bad experience with Eibachs.

I would put them on the F30 but seen no reports yet. Meanwhile, people say great things about the Sports, the Super Sports are a little too much for my taste.

I am AMAZED w/ how well the H&R sports feel on my M-sport w/ adaptive. I've run springs, bags, coils, etc on several cars and this ride is pretty close to the top of the list. I think the strut/shocks on this car help a bunch too

Super sports are just a bit lower and therefore a little stiffer. You sacrifice a little ride quality for the lower look.

Eibachs have always been my favorite, they offer decent lower, increased handling and still offer a good ride. Unfortunately, I contacted Eibach and they are not available for the F30 yet, possibly later this year.

I have seen Eibachs installed on the F30, they are out already.

I've had the H&R Sport springs on for about 3 weeks and driven 1000 miles on them. I honestly cannot feel a performance difference in normal driving conditions and only very little difference (perhaps a placebo effect) during "spirited" cornering and acceleration.

I have never spent much on cosmetic modifications (except for plastidip and the occasional LED bulb), and I consider the H&R sport spring to be primarily that. However, looking at the car now, I have absolutely no regrets about installing them. I really couldn't stand the huge wheel-well gaps.

What did you ask them about (xDrive springs maybe)?
Their springs for the RWD F30 have been available here in Europe since last summer.

Sucks, but you can get incorrect information even from the source. BMW does it all the time lol.

Best upgrade I can recommend for the F30 is to replace the stock RFT's and install H&R sports

I asked them about springs for an F30 and didnt specify rwd or xdrive but he would have asked if they had anything. I am going to go back to them because how and why would Europe have the springs and US not. I realize someone always gets something first....thats not my question...its just that if they already developed them for the F30, there shouldnt be more R&D going on or testing, just odd. Good news springs are out...possibly, bad news, I already swapped out my base model for the M sport springs because I didnt think Eibach was anywhere in sight.

Have the H&R sports been deemed the best compromise between looks and comfort. I just moved from a MK4 GLI that had coilovers and I don't want to sacrifice the ride quality of the F30.

Yes Sports, and likely Eibachs. The Super Sports teeter a bit over the edge and offer a more aggressive amount of lowering.

What all is included in the HR sports kit? I have a base suspension and I am researching all my options for an upgrade. Do you all think I need to upgrade the sway bars if I were to do this kit? Note that my car has too much body roll so that is one of the issues I am trying to solve with the suspension upgrade.

Its just a set of 4 springs, reduces ride height, mainly for looks but adds a bit to handling. Body roll is most affected by tires such as lower aspect ratios with stiffer sidewalls and your roll bars and strut setup.

After wheels and tires, rear sway bar is the cheapest way to attack body roll, next comes springs and struts. After that, you attack smaller things like bushings.

Thanks for the explanation. Therefore, the H&R/Eibach being discussed here are only spring updates. Based on your comments, its perhaps better to update the sway bars to take care of the body roll and then perhaps do the other components as I feel necessary. I will check to see if BMW will sell me the upgraded sway bars from the Mperformance suspension package separately. (Unless they convince me to go ahead and buy the whole kit, which is roughly $1750 )

Don't forget, joining the CCA will often net you 20% off parts and labor at a participating BMW dealer. That helps quite a bit when you are looking at something as large as the MPerformance kit.

I'm interested in this too. As I've only ever bought eibachs for previous cars as well as other friend's cars. But I've been paying attention to these forums foe e90 and f30 now and h&r seems to be much more popular
