Dyno for Procede with UR Downpipes (Before & After)

This is the before and after dyno of the Ultimate Racing catted downpipes as fitted to my car.

I'm on v1.47 and Milltek system without secondary cats for both runs.

The weather here in Singapore is hot and humid.

Needless to say, I'm extremely satisfied with the gains.

Subjectively, throttle response has improved noticeably and lag reduced even further. The turbos can be heard clearly now. Exhaust note rumbles more and sounds about 10% louder.

Strangely, it didn't feel that strong right after the install with very slight hesitation when pulling right at the beginning. However, the power and smoothness gradually improved and seemed to feel quicker and quicker over the last 1-2days. Kinda feels like when I first installed the Procede.

That is a shocking power graph. You must be able to feel that surging on the road.

I'd be asking my tuner what the issue is with this.

Definitely the power delivery is strange. Any other info about boost etc? Nothing that a good remap could not fix thoug.

Downpipes NEED a tune.. I faced spiking issues. With tuning you can smoothen out the power delivery and really get the most of those wonderfully free flowing pipes...

You need one DP tune, but two DPs.

Those look like great numbers.

Good job!

Which are the true numbers? Corrected 358.8whp..or 342whp?

I can certainly feel the difference on the road. There's a greater sense of effortlessness and a surge of power from around 3500rpm all the way till redline.

Most impressive is what's not reflected on the dyno. The throttle response and torque even below 2000rpm is very much improved. The lagginess and "heavy" feeling especially present at that very low rpm range is gone.. feeling like someone added another litre to the engine's displacement.

Now I'm hoping Shiv will release a map for these downpipes. It'll probably take awhile since he must be all tied up with v2. Wondering if v2 will smoothen out the power curve. Perhaps I should reset the ECU?

Frankly I didn't measure boost but will check with my dyno shop in the coming week if they logged AFRs.

That's the problem with dyno's. People are obsessed by peak numbers because in the majority of instances, that is all people understand.

Very nice gains indeed.. the Procede should show even more net gains, espeially with the cats removed and a good exhaust... then there's V2....
