M3 Int Swap Started
All work done professionally at Auto Couture Motoring located in Fair Lawn, NJ ... Huge Thanks to Sal and the Gang!
So I found it odd that BMW did not make there M sport line with specialized seats. They have added M accents like door sills, steering wheel, shift knob, hand brake, and body components but fitted the regular sport seats found in any 335 with a sport package. While other manufactures such as Audi and Mercedes with there respected packages, the S-Line package on the A4 or AMG package on the c300 with the special seats to differentiate between the other lines. I was rather "concerned" so i had this idea of fitting the M3 seats in my M-Sport 335...While i am still searching for side panels and speakers from an e92 M3, either red or black, I figured I would post the start of my conversion with the seats installed...Let me know what you guys think...enjoy PS the stock sport seats are for sale...Black Dakota Leather in Great condition...

Nice man! But it took me about a hour and a half to do a full m3 interior swap seats front and rear door panels and even split arm rest. Lol. Easiest thing to do!
Anyways congrats you'll love the seats so much

Everything is Plug and Play and all function work perfectly...You do however need to get the air bag lights and seat belt indicator coded. There is a difference in the head-rest restraints but it is nothing that will prevent it from functioning properly.

I want to keep the car as OEM as possible. Performance seats, while OEM, I feel would be too aggressive. Just wanted a clean look that only an enthusiast would notice and not pop to the common eye.

Looks great. I think you can source just the speaker grills as members on here have done it. They are only like $30 each. Or you could remove the foam and paint them silver.

Very nice swap!
But the leather grains are different. The M seats are Novillo and the E9X leather are nappa correct?
