Opti coat wont last a lifetime. Given ottawas weather i would say 3 years.

Yeah doubt it'll last a lifetime, but it probably will last longer than other. I wil probably strip and reoptivoat mine after 3 years

i'm thinking about getting it touched up every year before the winter season... starting to dislike jet black

going to put some sonax polymer net shield on this weekend to see if it can reduce some of the water spots

Opti Coat will last the longest of the three options. It is the more durable and utilitarian. if kept reasonably clean it will bead/continue to protect for 3+ years. Finest is warrantied for two years, it will likely last a bit longer but would need to be re-applied after ~2 years. It is glossier than OC, slicker, and easier to clean, but it is more expensive and is not permanent.
