Will V2 work on 2008 Models?

This is my first post and am so glad I found this Forum!

My new 2008 335i is currently awaiting transport at a dock in Germany but I was wondering if there is any reason to believe that Proceed V2 won't work with the new 2008 models.

Has anyone taken delivery of a 2008 and installed any Proceed versions?

Also, I have not been able to find any dynos on V2 using the search feature, have they been posted anywhere?

Thanks

2006 cars with the addition of the flux capacitor may be incompatible with current tunes.

(it will probably work)

The 2006 flux capacitor setup has minor impacts on e92/e93 models. I would not worry about it .

I expect that BMW did no major changes on the 2008 models. PROcede should work without problems.

Cheers

the problem of the 2006 flux capacitor is it requires weapons grade plutonium to generate the necessary 1.21 gigawatts of energy. luckily we'll get the mr.fusion upgrade in 2011...

and the only place currently that we can find any is from a group of Libians, lets hope they don't find out we're just sending them fake bombs made of pinball parts rather than their plutonium

Wrong, the flux capacitor (opt. code ZGG) only comes with the sport suspension if you ordered the staggered sport wheels; it was discontinued after March 2007 production. Please don't give the OP a hard time

Simple answer is there is no reason to think it won't work. The 535 is a 2008 model with the same engine and is running the procede. No major engine changes were announced for 2008.

My BMW SA told me PROcede V2 will only work in ’08 models with “Delete Model Designation”.

I guess it must have been a stupid question that I asked...maybe because I am not too familiar with how these piggy backs work but I was concerned that they might be changes to the actual BMW maps for 2008.

I remember reading how the Subaru engineers would make changes to their maps to make it difficult for tunners to mod the car.

BTW

The flux capacitor was invented when Doc Brown hit his head while standing on a toilet to hang up a clock. I wonder how Shiv came up with his invention?

Rumor has it, that Shiv took the Delorean back in time. While he was there, he ran into Bill and Ted. He kicked the shit out of them, and stole their piggyback idea.

Shiv can probably beat up Chuck Norris...

One time on a high school math test, Shiv put down "Violence" as every one of the answers. He got an A+ on the test because Shiv solves all his problems with Violence.

I watched Shiv knock out Apollo Creed in the 12th round of a championship rematch.

Most men are okay with their wives fantasizing about Shiv during sex, because they themselves are probably doing the same thing.

I was there in '84 when Shiv threw a last second hail mary to defeat Miami 47-45.
