Blackberry 9900 not compatible with F30

I've been having this problem with my steering wheel control button where they fail to work intermittently, volume, phone, voice control, cruise control... all no respond...

Dealer tried reprogramming the car and works well for a week or two then it start all over again...

I've seem to isolate the issue to the fact that because I paired a Blackberry 9900 with the car, and there seems to be a lot of "data exchange" going on between the phone & the head unit.

Anyone else having this problem?

No issue with the steering wheel button when I pair with iPhone 4S.

Check your Bluetooth software version.

Also, what OS version is on your 9900?

Car wise, it's already on the latest version (UPD01006), the 9900 is still using v7.1.0.342 (can't do anything on this as the corp admin is too busy to update the phone firmware unless something broken)

Your phone needs an upgrade. .342 is over 1 year old. Visit www.crackberry.com and I think you may be able to get advice on how to upgrade your Enterprise locked phone.

I'm using BB 9900 and have had no problems. The dealer set it up for me when I picked up the car and it has been connecting on its own evertime I get in with no problems when using it.

Thanks, but the problem is not with the phone functionality

Receiving call, making call, data streaming (live & internet), office (SMS/Email), everything is working well... what is not working is my steering control. I isolate the problem to the fact that the steering control work as they should when the BB is not paired (as main phone)

No issue here with my 9900 and Nav/Combox in F30. Steering controls work just fine.

First try new BB software, If that doesn't work I would make sure dealer has performed 3/2013 software update to your car. If that doesn't help, then ask them to look further (as in try swapping Combox).

I level is already up to date F020-13-502 or 503. Left with bb firmware to update which the admin is ignoring me. Handset upgrade is locked by admin

I'm thinking along the line of corrupting the phone then I left him no choice but to upgrade which happen before by accident and I'm sure I can reproduce the scenario again easily.

What is the last official version from your carrier for the 9900? For sure its higher than .342. Show him and let him know your phone doesn't work and is not allowing you to be productive. Or, go to his boss!

I still think you should try sweet first and ask nicely. Explain to him that your phone doesn't work in your car!

Already tried asking nicely, and got ignored (he told me to do it myself via the BB Desktop app, which obviously doesn't work since the handset is locked by Admin)
