335xDrive Msport Delivered!

Its here, I took delivery of my 2013 335i xDrive yesterday. Here is the spec's of the car:

M-Sport Package in Estoril Blue
Premium Package
m-brakes
m adaptive suspension
BMW assist
BMW apps
35% tint all around
19 inch 403M wheels staggered with Bridgestone S001

I've driven about 100KM today, I'll post some pic's, then the first impressions. I had the 2009 335i RWD Msport in Le Mans blue, so its definitely interesting to see the differences.

Here is a pic of my old 2009 335i.

Old 2009 335i:

Now onto the 2013:

So after 100KM of driving, here are some quick impressions of the 2013 335 xDrive.
- The fit and finish, interior is so much nicer in the 13 than the 2009, finally the interior has some semblance of a 'luxury' car
- There is not too much of a change between my old Le Mans Blue and the EBII, but I like the 2013 better
- The suspension felt very tight on the 2013, could it be the m-adaptive? felt better than the 2009
- Really like the trunk release feature
- The air conditioning is much 'colder' and stronger than the old one

Now the negatives,
-those complaining about the steering is not wrong. Damn, BMW, what have you done to the steering. It was a bit better at highway speed, but at low speed, the steering felt too 'electronic'? no feel at all...Maybe the VSS would've been a good option.
- The power, although I didn't drive it too extreme, the car felt not as strong picking up than my E90. Although I did have the JB4 on the E90.

Overall, the F30 is still an amazing car, they finally fixed the interior. I'll let the car break in properly before really testing it for power. If only they didn't mess around with the steering.

Congrats, looks great

As a former E90 owner myself, I tend to agree on most of your comparison points.

All in all I agree with the OP observations. I like the steering feel overall...at higher speed its the much same as the E90, but at slower speed I dont mind the lighter feel. I test drove a MB C350 and I'm glad I stuck with BMW. So its no contest for me, I prefer my F30 over my old E90. I love all the high tech options; heads up, blind spot assist, 360 camera, lane departure, upgraded Bluetooth. And I particularly love the seats and the interior.

I got the VSS and the steering is still light. I switch back and forth between driving my '08 135 m sport convertible and my '13 335 m sport and the steering feel is a stark contrast. I would have prefered if the 335 had the stiffer steering feel of the 135.

Congratulation

For your 2009, you didn't taint you window, why did you taint your windows on 2013?
What is your % tainted front and rear? 30%?

When I took the pictures of the E90, the windows weren't tinted. But I later had it tinted.
Both the E90 and F30 have their windows tinted to 35%.
