FYI: Shiv's V2 Release Update
Just to make it easy for others, it looks like next week for the release:
"Hi guys, Last week was kind of a mess for us as well. Not only was Dustin (our head tech support guru) on his much-deserved week-long vaction, it was also the first week that we had to do with Manas (who just went back to school). So it was basically me and Calvin trying to run the whole show. We're sorry about last week's PROcede shipping delays. It's been a while since we haven't had PROcede kits in stock so the harness delays took us by surprise. We expect to be fully caught up early next week with PROcede v1.47 orders. And the v2 ship out extraveganza begins right after that. Orb- I'm not sure what you are referring to with regard to your remaining issue. But I'll ask Dustin to follow up with you tomorrow. Regards, Shiv" |

I understand delays, but you need to keep customers informed. Just a quick post would be enough. I do it all the. Promise a project by a certain date and find out later that I can't deliver. Just a quick email or call and I end up with a much happier client than if I leave them there expecting.

I don't know why you guys are ticked off.
Would you have rather he opened the online purchasing a couple weeks from now so you can get it wihtin a week from then? Just relax, your order has been placed and you'll get it one of these days.

OH WAIT... Anytime you want to be the first of anything, you'll have to wait. If you want something now, go buy a car that has been out for awhile already.

I've noticed this lately. I was sick for a couple days, and people were ticked because I didn't respond to PMs. These guys have a job to do instead fo worrying about posting on forums.

That's the great thing about the piggybacks. You can always sell something you don't like. I started doing the same thing with my other car, but it was software and it was getting fricken expensive! I couldn't sell anything when I was done comparing.
