Its more like low 20's in the 1/4. Maybe 19's with a 5 speed.
Its got a GT2871R .86, modified e34 524td manifold, stock rebuilt block and head with a 2.5i cam and dual valve springs, 2.5i intake, Megasquirt II extra standalone injection, 30# injectors, a 3" mandrel bent downpipe and exhaust, two air-air intercoolers, two bosch diverter valves, a UUC clutch, 5 speed tranny swap, lightened 2.5i flywheel, 3.25 limited slip diff and 325i oil cooler. Most importantly, stock block, crank, rods, pistons, head gasket and bolts, stock tranny and driveshaft, stock diff from a different e28. Its been up to 19 psi. The video was running at around 15. That m20 motor is the shit. This is what it does with a homemade turbo. Imagine what you get with a real manifold instead of that turbodiesel crap. |

PROcede won't give you 20 car lengths.
What would be insane is if the 335i already had a PROcede. That 528e would be like those old Volvo 240's with the built Mustang 5.0 liter swaps. Sleeper cars that could bait you into losing a couple benjamins. |

Though I think i'm just going to try and get my e30 back here where I live now and Either swap an S62 if I decide to make it a complete track car, or an S52 if I decide to make it a street turbo beast.

Great to see old iron running so fast. Nice work on the car. Does it look as good as it runs or is it a true sleeper? Got a daytime image for us?

Dude it's a TRUE sleeper, different faded paints, old gold mesh's with no fairings under the bumpers. It's awesome.

Yeah, its pretty ugly. I looked and looked nd this is the only one I could find at the time. Nice e28's are hard to come by in New Mexico.
It went on the dyno this afternoon, made 290 HP and 350 trq at the wheels uncorrected. It was about 90 degrees in the shop, so I'm sure the IAT's were a little higher than usual. The best part was the powerband. It made 290 at about 5k, but it was still making 270+ at 6500 RPM. Maybe that diesel manifold isnt so bad after all. Just for kicks, the corrected numbers were 358 HP and 430 torque. The car is tuned for the altitude, so 1.2 isnt quite appropriate, but for bench racing its all good...
