Question regarding mods and boost/cooling
I am planning to order a 335xi coupe... I plan to get procede and catless DPs.
My questions: Will the stock Blow off valve be fine to handle this setup? I am ordering the sports package but keeping 17"s only.. therefore no oil cooler.. anyone else not have an oil cooler and these mods? Any issues I should be worried about? PS. How smelly will the car become with catless DPs? |

I have no oil cooler. It is wise to have oil cooler add on to the car. This will prevent pre-mature wear on your engine. Sports package should have one if im correct. The stock blow off valve would be fine .. i dont have mind replace. It is kinda annoying with aftermarket blow off valve. Personally i really hate the sound it make.. |

Just get the package. Or don't, an OC is only necessary for extreme driving. |

From what people have said on this forum the only time you would need the cooler is if you plan on doing back to back to back runs or if you live in south where it is HOT and HUMID......do a and you will find lots of info.....Good luck

I may me the only one with a issue with the stock diverter valves since I haven't heard anyone else complain, but mine have a hard time holding the boost and tend to chatter a little. I plan on getting aftermarket ones when they come out.

Get the OC for sure if you are planning on amping the engine.
Someone is making high quality alu diverter valves, I forget which outfit.
