PROcede Dark vs Flagship PROcede

I was just reading up on the Procede dark and was wondering if it was worth getting over the Regular Procede... On vishnu's site its saying the dark is putting out a little bit less power, but if you were going for power would'nt you just put in a couple more hundred and go with the flagship procede?

what im really asking is if the Dark is worth it... Or would going with the regular one be a little more beneficial?

well i think that before buying the dark, i would just save a little more money and go straight to the Regular... is it just that the dark is not as aggressivly tuned?

It's a money decision. If you have the money, buy the V2. If you don't have, buy the DARK and upgrade later. You will end up with the same price. If you don't plan to upgrade you will have the best technical engine tuning solution currently available for a fair price.

Win - win - win.

No, I don't get money or anything else from Vishnu.

actually, and this is in no way an offense to Shiv, but i see 2 reasons for coming out with a PROcede Dark, people who just just want a teeny tiny bit of more power, in order to stand out among other stock 335s, and the more slick one, of promoting the the regular PROcede. Its actually very common in retail to have a low end and mid range product, and price them very close together, then common sense kicks in and says, well if i'm gonna spend X amount of money on a low end, a couple of more bucks and i can get the mid range. People go through it all day, they just don't realize it.

I think its smart because you can see how many people have chosen to go with other cheaper $500-600 tuning solutions that aren't nearly as complex as a real piggyback, so if you are able to offer them performance that is on par to the competition with a much better way of extracting that power (ie. using real boost/fuel/ignition maps and not resistors) then you have a very good product. If I were in the market for a turbo tuner I wouldn't even think twice about going with a procede dark. The fact that you can upgrade to 1.47 or V2 later on makes it that much better. Just my opinion though. This is coming from someone who would just buy the procede V2 to begin with.

Why Dark? You can have the same performance&safety with less money.

Ok, some think they pay the price premium of Dark (compared to similar but more inexpensive solutions) for having the option of buying V2 later at the V2-Dark price difference only. Those who do not upgrade their Dark to V2, end up paying for nothing at the end of the day. Those who end up upgrading, will enjoy the the V2 shorter time than those who buy V2 right away. Still they pay the same amount. So Dark is a losers' choice. People who don't really know what they want.

So does it make any sense at all to offer a product that has been created by disabling the existing good stuff in the existing full version?? Sure, the world is full of losers who don't know what they want. Their money belongs to the better pockets. Personally, I go all out V2 all the way asap.

I'd say go for the v2. If you go with the dark you'll always have in the back of your head "Yes i can get more power"... all your doing is simply delaying the inevitable
