spare key, local

where's the best deal to get spare key done? My lock and unlock button rarely works now. I only know of Seattle and Bellevue. Seattle's cost is $280ish, Bellevue $350ish for e90 no CA.

any other place i could check out?

I only have one as well... I have a spare from my old e90 but it would need to be programed. From what I've read, you can't reprogram a key... Can anybody chime in on this? You would think it's just a simple job...

To the OP, did you try changing your battery? A while back my CA was acting real shitty and not unlocking when I touched the door handle, trunk etc, but after I got new batteries for it, it seemed to be working as it should again.

I played around with this on an e46 a few weeks back with INPA because the guy jump started a Honda and his security was out of sync causing his car not to start. Looked like you could code the key to the car within INPA. So I'm not sure if you need to have anything done to the key itself, but more coding the car to use the key. I'll see if I can find a DIY...
