Turtle Wax Scratch Remover Kit????

anyone tried this yet? I saw the youtube video and it looks simple but it scares me. I have a few scratches and was wondering how good it is on EBII and any input.

How deep are your scratches? Scratch kits like the Turtle Wax one rarely blend well or will be very difficult to make it look like you weren't repairing a scratch.

If your scratches aren't crazy deep (within clear coat), then you're probably better off polishing/compounding with a buffer. Check out Detailed Image; they've got everything you need.

If it's a light scratch, you might be able to get away with just Meguiar's Scratch X.

I have it and have used it on my 2012 BSM. It worked great and on some pretty decent scratches as well. The kit comes with 3 small sqaures of different grit sanding blocks, bottle of spray lube for sanding blocks, clear coat stick and polish. I used this on a fairly deep scratch on my hood and it worked great. You are taking a layer of clear off by sanding but to get a deep scratch out you have no other choice. I have a polishing wheel and I used Meguairs 205 and the wheel to bring back the luster and shine.

The Turtle wax scratch kit is the ticket for the scratches that get into the clear. The kit does take some clear with it since you're sanding but it does work as well. The key is to use the sanding blocks in proper sequence and keep them wet. After a good polish out with meguiars 205 the scratch will be gone.

I have used this kit but all in vain. Then my friend recommend me surface protection tape. Great thing. I totally loved it.

I used it and it totally f***ed up my paint on my old car. Maybe i used it wrong but i would stay away from any turtle wax products in general. In all my experiences they are junk
