After-market headunit in an X5

Anyone done it? Any pictures? My OEM AM radio is dead and I was thinking of putting in an aftermarket one. Anyone done this?

ironic, i just put in the Alpine D305 head unit, it's the pop out with DVD and Navi.... they did a real nice job of keeping it clean and hooking it up to the factory amp without having to add or remove anything. Let me know if you want me to take photos

Yes, please! I have been reading some comments in different places about how it looks. I wanted to see what it looks like in a X5.

We do it all the time!!! It is a bit more difficult if you have the DSP System
