Adding POIs....?

I've searched the forum but can't see if this is possible on f30s or f31s? When I google I can do it for older bmws but not new ones.

By POIs, I mean POIs......ok? Rather than bother the forum, feel free to pm me

Trying to remember too.

It's on the main nav screen, think it's the second menu up from the bottom. You then see a 'show' menu then add poi's there, same option for adding google map overlay when at 1mile+

Yes, no problem seeing them. I mean adding them, i.e. new POIs e.g. ones that can help with safety..................

At the moment there is no way of doing this. I know another forum member is working on a way to do this via accessing the hard drive.

I think the poster is alluding to speed camera information. I confess on my last Mark 4 based sat nav it did have speed cameras although the source of the DVD was not from BMW, if you get my drift. It would be nice to have the information on this car although with a HUD you really have no excuse for being caught speeding.

I hard wired an Inforad K2 on my e90. It was a perfect fit under the wire between the rear view mirror and windshield sensor/camera. I wired a usb extension from the roof lining down the A pillar into the fuse box behind the glove compartment and used a 'add-a-fuse' to a spare switched live fuse.

The inforad database is brilliant, its spot on! I was vary about the database's accuracy but its not ever let me down. An example is the M1 near the M25 all the new 4 lane works has also put up speed cameras. Every single overhead sign frame structure shows a picture of a speed camera, some even have the lines across the road however only a few actually have the camera above. The inforad new exactly which ones they are so you don't have to be tricked into thinking theres a speed camera.
