Bmw Meet Lakeside Essex Saturday July 27th!!!!!

Hi guys iv been talking to a few members of the site and I think its about time for a bmw owners meet. Its been a long time since the last Essex meet so I think this is well needed.

This meet is for any bmw, new or old. It will start at 8:00P.M at lakeside in the pizza hut car park in the retail area and then we will have a little cruise on down to southend seafront.

Please put this up on facebook and tell your bmw friends im sure we can all make it a great turnout.

Details:

Date: Saturday 27th July 2013

Time: 8.00p.m till late

Location: Essex, lakeside pizza hut retail car park then onto southend seafront after a couple of hours.

Requirements: Anything BMW.

Hi Mate.

I live in Thurrock and the Police are currently on a drive to reduce the amount of "Boy Racers" - OK I know we are not boy racers but the police currently have special powers granted to disperse car meets in thurrock (especially Lakeside).

They are currently not even allowing a meet as lots of meets will end in some type of silliness somewhere so they nip it in the bud straight away and disperse groups immediately, they also take your particulars and you cannot return for a certain amount of time.

All of the retail park security are onboard and will call the police as soon as a few cars gather.

Just letting you know the situation as the Police have been on a zero tolerance - I was at a lakeside meet (Audi) a few weeks ago and there were 8 of us (all in our thirty's with factory standard cars) just parked up and stood in a group taking about cars and stuff and we were moved on and given a no return order.

they can only move you on if they have evidence of you being a danger to public or there being any anti social behaviour. That isn't going to happen but if anyone wants to they can save it for southend as that seems to be the place them sort of people do it. so we will be fine as long as people act like grown ups.

I know this due to my dads best friend is in the Essex traffic police and he told me all about it. Some cops will try it on but if they know you know the restrictions then they will leave you alone unless you misbehave.

I would have gone somewhere else but didn't know where to go that everyone will know.
