Dashboard and climate control

It looks like a dog pawed the sh*t out of the climate control and dashboard, when in fact I just wiped it with a microfiber. Does anyone else have this problem? I only see if when the sun hits it at a large angle. What's the fix?

I'll give it a try, will it remove light scratches? I'm seriously considering taking tooth paste or cape cod cloths to the dash
