Glympse (iOS app) talks to BMW Apps

Just noticed the recent update to the Glympse iOS app says...

New for v2.17:
- BMW & Mini integration: Drivers of BMWs that support “BMW Apps” and MINIs that are "MINI Connected" can now access Glympse directly from their vehicles.

Shame I don't have BMW Apps

I've always seen this app as trouble.

Needless to say, not a fan. LOL

Me too. I got it because I've never had a BMW before and thought I'd regret not getting it as I'd never know what it could do if I didn't get it.

And now I more or less have the answer: nothing. At least nothing useful.

Would be interested to hear of anyone who has found a valid use for it.
