Anyone else had any issue with a 64GB memory stick not being recognised ?

initially it was formatted to ExFAT, so now it is formatted to FAT32, when plugged in USB lights up, but on the console it says 'Not connected'....

next option.....?

Have you tried another USB stick, formatted in FAT32? Have you also plugged another USB device such as an iPod or mobile phone with a music player?

I have been using 1Gb and 4Gb memory sticks upto this point, due to go on holiday at the weekend and wanted a cheaper alternative than an iPod for the family's music !

A portable USB HDD should also work, and they aren't that far off a 64GB price but you get lot more GBs.

I think i have my 500GB formatted to NTFS, but couldn't swear by it..

Just formatted my 64Gb memory stick to NTFS and bob's ur uncle, Fanny's my aunt and it works - so the manual says FAT 32 is best - well NTFS works for larger storage devices.... !!

NTFS will have problems with mac OS. The only one that works out of the box with both operating systems is FAT32...
