AMS Catless Downpipes + Akrapovic Dyno Video!

Finally got a chance to do the Dyno at EAS this Monday. I'll post the dyno charts later. There is definitely a gain.

Here is the install blog with pictures.

The dyno was posted on EAS's flickr. Looks like the "stock" run was with an RPI system.

The highest I got uncorrected was 559whp / 519tq which was my very first run. On average most stock M5s dynoed anywhere from 530-545whp / 478-492tq (uncorrected) on EAS's dyno equipment. But those are just numbers. The only thing relevant is my previous dyno done without downpipes compared to now. I gained in the upper RPM range which is quite noticeable. I hope this help.

Anyone know how long it takes for the ECU to adjust to the downpipes after install? Would love to get mine dynoed too.

Just curious what prompted a change from RPI to Akra?

Currently I am clearing the light every time it comes on. I am using the PLX Wifi device and Dash Command on the iPhone. It does get annoying clearing it every so often. I might have to consider using the Akrapovic Delete-R to automatically clear the CEL when it comes on.
