Thoughts on interior options for the F8x M...
For the E9x we had platinum, black, bamboo beige, and fox red as choices for the car. I was never wild about any of them and went with black.
What color choices would you be interested in for the F8x M? I would love a rust type color that might look great with a space grey exterior. A coral red would be interesting as well. Or would you be just fine with pretty much the same choices as before? How about trim options? |

I've always liked black interior, both for sporty look and durability. I've had light interior twice and both times I regretted it. So I'm not interrested in a light interior but it would be nice to have another mid to dark color to choose from. I think a darker red like wine/burgundy kind of color would be cool and accentuate nicely to Carbon/Alcantara/Alu trim details.
That's what I want for trim, a mix of CF,Alcantara and brushed Alu in the right places. |

The M4/M3 requires a Full Leather interior option, regardless of color. For the price that BMW will ask for this car it better have it...

Agree with you there. I got extended leather on my E92. You know they will do the same on the F8x though. It won't come standard. Porsche is even worse at nickel and diming for everything.

I hope the M3/M4 gets similar seats as the 4 convertible or the 6series. Haven't seen any detailed shots which would reveal thse.
Further as interior colors, cohiba and sakhir are some very nice options. Semi alcantara/leather options like the M Sport F3x would also be great! |

I know... the stock 3/4-Series interior is really not up to par at the price that these M models are going to be sold IMO, so at least the option of a Full Leather (not Extended) is a must.

I agree with the previous posts that the darker colors hold up well. I have gone with a black interior typically, but I would love to see a rust brown or terracotta leather. I would also like to see real carbon fiber inlays as an option.

I hope they bring back cinnamon for the M3/4, or something like Rust Brown or Cohiba Brown. A nice red would also look great with greys/silvers. Anything but SS II leather (or paint...)

I'd like to see Rust brown or Cinnamon. Don't think we'll get it though. I'd also like to see a good red color, but think we'll get stuck with Sakhir orange.
BMW would be smart to offer contrast stitching for all interior colors, but they'll never do that, unfortunately. |
