Here's the New M4

I'm at Laguna Seca today for the Rolex Sports Car Reunion and the new M3 decided to show herself off

Got to drive around the track in the new c7 and I hope the m4 can hang but I have doubts.

I'll get to see the m4 a bit better tomorrow at the Concours d'Elegance as I'm eager to see the inside of it.

Cheers.

I believe that it's Phoenix Yellow, like the E46 color.

I'll be there today as well, and I also wis they'd pop the hood. Interestingly, they just took the wraps off of the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe' at Pebble Beach, which I'll get to see.

Sorry you're all wrong.. the new color is "puke-a-ellow" .. the new M4 looks fantastic I just wish BMW hadn't gone all bling-bling about it and picked a different color to show it off in.

To be honest it wasn't really the car I was impressed with as much as the driver (Johnny O'Connell) who was going all out just inches away from the 3 other pace cars...probably doing low-mid 1:40s...and having a blast. Although I have to admit that thing was planted waaayyyy better than my stock ZCP suspended M3 could ever dream of.

What did you think about the color in person. Also, how were fender flares?

DAvid and I ended up getting a one on one private viewing this morning of the car, no ropes, no media, no other people around and it was awesome! Def is going to be a epic car! The color is very cool in person. the pictures do it no justice. It has a lot of flake to it. we were told that this color is only for the concept and wont be available to order but there will be a similar color that is almost the same available as an option.

overall I was very impressed with the concept and can't wait to get one! the one thing you can't really see in the pics is there is 3 small M stripes that run on the driver side of the car on the roof that look really cool! was one of my favorite parts of the car.

Also the car seemed very large to me. looked to be a bit longer then the e92 and wider. The carbon pieces are going to be a must for all M4 owners IMO if they are an available option. They just fit the car so well.

a performance car should never be big like that. After all, m3 is not a super car.
