Off to the BMW Performance center
My dealer has given a free trip to the BMWPerformance center in Greenville, S.C My trip to the performance center is on wed. Has anybody from here been there? If so I would like to here your experiance on how it went, and what to expect. I am really looking forward to this, as I was told I will learn more about my car, as well as other models.

You'll see some cars ripping it around the track if they let you out there. Try to catch a ride with one of them if you can. They drive the hell out of those cars! M5's mainly.

Very nice. We used E90 335i through most of the exercises, drove the X5 on the off road course and drove the Z4 coupe, 530, M5, 650, 740, and X5 for a couple laps each around a short track.

I particpated in the 1 day driving school, and it was a blast. SC has been really fortunate to have BMW build their plant in their state (I grew up just NW of that area).

I'm not sure about your course schedule. I've been to both "One Day School" in California last year October, and "Two day school" this July in SC.
Typically you won't have much time to try the ///M cars during one day school because of tight schedule. But do try to get a ride with the instructors in M5 on a hot lap right after lunch time. If PC kept the same fleet as July, for one day school, you should be able to learn car control skills from either E90 335i, or Z4 3.0si. Last time at the end of the "Two day school", the instructors gave us a little taste of the "M School" and "X School". So me and Kel got a feel to drive the M5, Z4M, and X5 on a hot lap; and X5 on off-road course. You'll enjoy, and love it! And don't forget to visit BMW Zentrum after the class.

The one in Greenville is very nice for a Marriott. Spa, pool, fitness center. Bar is nice.

Congrats on winning the trip! I entered that contest through an email that my dealer sent me a week or so ago, but I guess I didn't win.
Have fun on your trip!

I was there on August. A lot of fun!!! The Marriott is nice and the cars you drive are even more fun. Driving the M6 was the best out of all though, and going back to a 335i after was like going back to a pony.. Enjoy it and don't forget to visit the Museum...a lot of nice stuff there too.
