Devalue because of colour change

I have the 20" wheels and like many others really want to change them to the satin black found on the M Performance editions.
Do you think by changing the colour I will devalue my car in anyway?

Don't know about devalue. It will certainly reduce the cars appeal in the resale market. Black wheels are less popular generally.

I was also considering painting the wheels on my next car. I was thinking of matte graphite which creates a darker look but more mainstream than Black satin.

Hmmm interesting.
The OEM finish is fairly difficult to revert back to isn't it?

I think that is a nice compromise Stealth.
I loved the Matt grey finish I used to have on my Audi.

Yeah the OEM finish is brushed clear so hard to revert to. You could paint it silver when you're done with black but it wouldn't be the same as OEM.

If you go for Matte Graphite please post pics.

I think this finish will also hide brake dust better than any other finish.

Would you go for a wet finish or a powder coat?

Sorry not an expert. I would probably do what the OEM would do.

Powdercoat is more durable. The last thing you want is having the paint chip.. then the downtime associated with repairing/reprinting.

Just do Plastidip so you can peel it off when you are done. Makes it very simple.
