What is this part called that is connected to the charge pipe and are there any upgrades to it? Feels a little flimsy to me

Do you mean the chargepipe “elbow”? Yes there are numerous options there. Larger chargepipe that directly connects to the cold side intercooler piping, or a more sturdy meth elbow. Though since you already have meth bungs tapped in the chargepipe, probably not necessary.

The Long version ER Charge pipe replaces that elbow... as far as other aftermarket options just to replace that piece I'm not sure maybe the BMS Meth Elbow? I need to double check.

It is flimsy which is why we recommend all customers who get the ER CP from us to get the long version.

Is it necessary to upgrade the elbow if I'm not running meth? Can a flimsy one cause me to have a boost leak?
