How to tell PPK was installed?
I just picked up 2013 335i M sport. It's an awesome car so far and initially I didn't want the MPPK but when the car arrived at the port, my dealer told me it was already installed.
My original window sticker does have the Performance Power Package listed as an option for $1370 but my car doesn't the M Performance Engine Cover or any of the associated decals. Additionally, my sport display only lists out 320hp/320tq. Is there anything else I should check to see if my car does or does not have the MPPK? |

Do you have black grilles and the M Performance exhaust? There was a bundle with these 2 items called the performance power package or something along those lines. There are some old threads around here on the subject. If you don't have the engine cover, plaque or intake then I doubt you have the PPK (and you're dealer is an idiot for not knowing his own product )

If your car is in Eco pro mode and you put it in comfort, the difference should be vast with the PPK. I have too many posts for 5 days so I will pen off with this for a few days

Ive been trying to tell my dealer this for days...
My car only reads 320/320 Before and after ppk I feel it did not take when they did the upgrade. They tell me it did... Neverending battle |

Yea I contacted my dealer and apparently the Z3B "performance power package" only includes the exhaust and grills (MSRP $1370). Performance power kit vs. performance power package....BMW needs to relabel their port installed accessories.
I always wondered how I got the black grills and M exhaust tips. |
