Does filling up your tank lower your car or not?

Just a quick question, when you fill up your tank does it lower your car? I cant tell because my car is lower on coilovers and has a full tank of gas and it seems like its gotten lower(I cant check cause my car sitting pretty flush and cant tell if the tank is sitting on top of the chassis or below). Im driving 600 miles tomorrow and my car is fill with my cloths and stuff. I need to raise my car a little bit so it dont rub. If filling up your tank does lower your car ill probably fill it up 3/4 or haft way to avoid rub. Thanks

7.29 lbs per gallon. just try and match that weight in the trunk on an empty tank

If your empty and you slightly rest against the side of your car while it is filling you will feel it drop about a 1/4".

I made sure that I fine tuned the rear ride height with a full gas tank. I opted to set my ride height by measuring the distance from the top of the wheel well to the middle of the wheel and made it the same in all 4 corners. The rear wheel well arch is a bit lower than the front and the factory ride height gives the car a slight rake. I match the rake by measuring the way I did. That way when I have my family in the car, the rear sits a bit lower which tucks the rear ever so slightly which means it is parallel to the ground.

the fuel tank is in front of the rear axle so weight of the fuel is distributed front and rear. Not equally, but some weight goes to the front axle. Gasoline is 6.25 pounds per gallon. A full tank of fuel is 100 pounds. That weight will make no significant difference in ride height.
