If I'm not mistaken the info site you linked to states this will work with E90's up to 2009?

That's the information they have posted on their website, but it couldn't hurt to e-mail or call them to see if the software has been updated to accommodate 2010+ models.

Good point, didn't know if it was just a software differentiation. Do you know what commonly coded abilities it has other than battery coding? Or is this capable of keyfob window programing, more specifically?

While all versions of this cable are capable of battery registration, I believe only the professional version has the ability to do general coding such as key fob window programming, digital speedo, mpg, etc. (Don't quote me on this!)
