Another Windshield Washer Leak Thread

I have had a leak for a couple of years now and I finally felt productive enough to try and diagnose the issue. I took the fender liner out and saw the leak coming from the bottom of the pump. Do you think I need to replace the pump or just a seal.

I think I'm having the same issue now, how much work was it to pull the tank?

It shouldn't take more than a half hour start to finish.

I'm going to pull mine soon, have a very slow leak somewhere. Anything else need to come out other than the fender liner? I've never really looked closely at it.

This is pretty common issue. Happened to me a couple times when I was using the WW PWM water/meth kit.

Yep, common issue as it happened to me. Replaced the pump and all is good.

The only other place that might leak is at the filler tube connection. Mine started leaking after I disconnected and reconnected it. I re-cleaned the o-ring but that didn't resolve it. Tried replacing it with one from a generic o-ring kit, but the thickness of any similar diameter o-ring were too thick and prevented the filler tube from being able to seat into the tank. I ended up lubing the o-ring with a thick liquid hand-soap and after 5 months, it's still leak free. Otherwise, since the o-ring is not sold separately, a brand new filler tube would need to be ordered.
