Hey peeps,

Wondering if one of you knowledgeable chaps can help me out.

I just bought some lurrrrvly leather M Sport seats for my MSport Bimmer and I have a sneaky suspicion they are heated. but could easily be wrong.

They new seats are manual but have a little black box and also a white 2 pin roundish connector which are extra compared to the old ones I took out.

Here is a pic of the underside of one of the seats, but both have these black boxes and 2 pin connector on.




Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the replies.

It appears that my new seats have the heating system installed and that box is the heating relay module.

After much research I will be making a wiring loom, adding the fuses and recode. if anyone is interested I can post up "a howto" as they seem to be few and far between.

I've ordered the KCan cable, new Climate Control unit with AutoStart button and heated seat module. There are 3 fuses to add, IIRC 2 x 30A and 1 x 5A. My seats are manual.
