Music source?

I am wondering what the best way to store music in my car is? I have a 2011 e90. I have a usb drive in the glove box and what appears to be some connectors in the centre console?

Do I buy some sort of Apple device? Do I use a usb drive? If so, how do I set that up? At present, all of my music is managed through iTunes.

Any insight would be helpful as I have upgraded my audio system in the car and now need a great source of music.

Thanks,

If you have a USB port under the arm rest, I would think this is the best solution.
Should give good quality sound and no need to buy additional devices etc.
