Calling local detailers! In need of headlight restoration.

Hi guys,

I just replaced my E90 with an... E90. The second car is a new-to-me 330i with some pretty yellowed/distorted headlight lenses that I was hoping to have cleaned up.

Does anyone local (within ~25 miles of Stamford, CT) have any experience with cleaning up/restoring blemished or yellowed headlight lenses? Please shoot me a PM or reply to the thread if you can be of service!

Wish you were closer I could probably help you out, even though I don't do tons of headlights (mostly paint restoration) I'm sure I could take care of that

Me too! At the end of the day, those kits work pretty well but in order to do this properly you really need to use like 3-4 different grits of sandpaper, polish the lights with an orbital buffer, and apply sealant. All things that good details should be adept at

I've got great results using Meguiar's PlastiX and different pads on the buffer.

Amazon 3m Headlight Restoration Kit

An all in one solution. I've used this multiple times before, I've gotten great results
