Mtech rear bumper question.

I currently have a 328i with dual outlet on the left side. If I buy a Mtech rear bumper for this set up and I choose to have a quad set up in the future, will I need to buy another Mtech bumper for the 335i or can I just use a diffuser? Will the diffuser cover up the hole on the left side?

Thanks for responses!

Diffuser. They're interchangeable.

not necessarily true. The mtech for 328 rears obviously has different cutouts for ones made for the 335. It's best to decide your exhaust setup prior to purchasing your rear bumper. Here's a link to a conversion I did using an mtech rear made for the 335 and a diffuser made to fit that bumper:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=850816

That was my main concern! I did see your conversion and instead of going Remus, I'll be going through the magnaflow route.

So I would have to buy the mtech rear for the 335i and a diffuser for quad, right? A 328i mtech rear with a cyba quad diffuser won't work?

The bumper itself is the same. The diffusers are interchangeable and you can get a new one later when you decide to get your exhaust done.
