yeah that's deliberate, its done 132000 miles but i'd prefer people to actually look over it before just skipping by due to the miles. It's only gone up today so i'll leave it as is for a while and amend if necessary
What do you think of it overall? |

Oh I don't know....diesels and twin turbo petrol engines are all good when they're in their infancy, not so clever down the line when they need injectors and turbochargers....

Just as a guide, sold mine in Feb. Near identical car/colour/year etc except mine didn't have xenons but did have Prof Nav, 103,000 miles and 10 months tax and MOT.
Went for £5450 after about a month of advertising. Wrong time of year I guess. |

There's no desperate rush to sell although I certainly don't want to be messing about for a couple of months but there has been a fair bit of interest on the car so I'm guessing it's an in demand model.... Time will tell I suppose. I should really detail the service history as its had a fortune lavished on it, might amend the ad this evening

ha ha ha wondered how long it'd take a smarty pants to spot that one :-)
I'm sure I don't need to explain to you that a single press of the dtc button allows the car to retain full power but will brake an individual wheel to keep it from spinning/slipping....well that's bmw's electronic "lsd" rather than the real thing..... ..a bit long winded for ebay though so I have put it as is |

I would not leave that in your ad if I were you, as by its addition and the concealing of the mileage would place a question mark over your integrity and put most savvy buyers off. Unless there are other hidden 'features' you are trying to conceal... For what it's worth, I like the 330i and feel it's the closest to traditional BMW motoring out of the lot. I would highlight the positives of the car while disclosing the negatives. There's no need to make stuff up though. |

A single press of the DTC button enables DTC! Basically allowing a little more slip when in low traction scenarios such as pulling away on snow or wet muddy grass. It's nothing like an LSD I'm afraid.

Also I'd change the the photo of the front to avoid fog lights on. It attracts only certain type of population. Also in the photo, where its says Check OK, but engine light is on. I guess you tried to take a photo without the mileage but engine light (thought its temporary) will put off any potential buyers. I would suggest you to write the mileage in the adv, but not in ebay mileage section. So your car will appear in the listing and readers can see that you are not hiding anything.

Anyway, the ad will remain as is, well actually it will be coming down just shortly as i've decided to keep the car now and have just purchased a new set of genuine 313 alloys and tyres for it. Have a nice day everyone Last edited by jamesno1; 10-22-2013 at 10:24 AM.. |

Hmm. Well kind of, but it doesn't divert torque to the wheel with the most traction it just stops the wheel with the least amount of traction from spinning wildly so it dissipates the torque on that side by driving it againts the brake, i.e. the car bogs down but is controllable. If you know how a clutched LSD works then I'm surprised you think it's similar.
Anyway, 313 wheels are great so will give it a new lease of life
