What's the best Wax for the price
More interested in protecting the paint, but a nice shine is a plus too.
Currently use meguiars gold class shampoo and conditioner for washing. Do I just wash the car, dry it, and wax it and clean it off? Also, I've got some sort of yellow grease goop melting on the bottom sides under the doors. Is it cosmoline? How clean? Or should I even wax it? The car is 3 weeks old. I wouldn't be using a cheap wax on your car. I've been using Gtechniq evo 2 and it's amazing. YouTube them and you'll see how great it is. It's not cheap by the way, costs around $65 for a 30ml bottle but it will do 2 coats and that's all you need

The Gtechniq is a sealant protective layer that will give it a slick shine and water beading. It's a great product I would definately check out the YouTube videos for all the benefits. I couldn't be happier when I did it on my car 2 weeks ago

I use Zaino and love the easy application and removal.

Weird question: does wax expire? I have a bunch of wax agents (Mother's, Meguire's, Turtle) that are more than 5 years old. Not sure if I wanna keep on using it. Still worked fine on my Mazdaspeed 3 two months ago.

Gtechniq c2 v3 will last 6 to 9 months.
Use a neutral ph shampoo like dodo juice and it won't come off. Excellent beading!

Opticoat. You pay for it once and never have to put it on again.

Depends on the carnauba content, most modern waxes are blended with synthetic agents so they may separate over time. Also depends on how well you have looked after them I.e. Heat, cold etc. most will be ok.

I imagine they have different compounds and formula but curious as to what would be the next thing for me to buy once I am done with the Optimum car wax. Thanks guys! Also, any experience with P21S Total Auto Wash? Is it a neutral pH soap/shampoo or it will strip off the wax layer.
