coding help (CAS module read error)

About video in motion, I am not sure it is my car build, I follow instructions to the grid, the handbreak section, speedlock min/max, but still could not get it to work, any tricks I've been missing?

F10 M5 Juy 2012 build

I also encounter an error when reading code data in ACM module, it said something about file not found, that's annoying because that's where auto start/stop is

I could get TPMS and sports reading to work though

Start stop is in the CAS module:
CAS => 3000 => TC_MSA_MEMORY => aktiv.
Change it to aktiv if you want it to remember the last setting.

Or if want it off permanently, change the below to aktiv:
CAS => 3000 => TC_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF => aktiv

For DVD in motion I have not tried it as its not something that interests me. For 2012 do you have CIC or NBT? Probably CIC.
2011-12 (CIC)
HU_CIC => 3000 => SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN => value = FF
HU_CIC => 3000 => SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX => value = FF
HU_CIC => 3000 => VIDEO_NUR_MIT_HANDBREMSE => nicht_aktiv
2012-13 (NBT) and 2014 LCI
HU_NBT => 3000 => SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN => value = FF
HU_NBT => 3000 => SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX => value = FF
HU_NBT => 3000 => VIDEO_ HANDBRAKE => nicht_aktiv

Are you saving the file after editing it, then go back into expert/coding to apply it to the module?

you are right, auto start/stop is in CAS module, that's where I encounter error reading file

I am not sure whether I have CIC or NBT, I will try look for the NBT value tomorrow, in case I do have a NBT

I save after I changed the value of speedlock min/max, handbrake section, then use the back button to expert/coding mode, activate FA, then select that module and code FDL, am I missing something here? I could get trunk open from driver side button, tpms reading, sport gauge to work though

Thanks for the hint

You either don't have the most recent CAFD for CAS or you lost power to the car.

Hey Jeff - I know... the admins on the forums turned off my PM feature on my account.

Didn't get your text.

You can get the latest PSdz datafiles from shawnsheridan on the F30POST forums

http://www.f30post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=429

He'll provide you with a download link for the light or full files (only needed if you want to flash modules) and the RAR extract password
