Rear View Camera?

I'm on the fence about getting nav. I do like the way it integrates alot of functionality, however i am not sold on its nav capabilities alone...the deal breaker is the backup camera, sure its a small car and i do know how to park, but given the parking situation on campus i would feel much better with it, it helps when i'm closing in on small distances, and also certain blind spots in poorly lit garages with poor college student drivers...

my question is where do they mount the camera in the OEM accessory option? is it just a modified license plate frame? because to me that is too cheap for a n almost 50k car...

also, are there any other benefits to nav? (other than the obvious of course)

This makes no sense.....
- there is no BMW option for REAR VIEW CAMERA so don't bother asking the dealer !
- The NAV system in the 2007 sedan, coupe and cabrio are the same so identifying options that work for one and not the others makes no sense additionally, the cars up to 3/07 and cars beyond 3/07 also use the same system so that makes no sense either

The big issue here is that you need something that works with the MOST system. So far best option, albeit expensive, is the TVandNav2go

Lolololo... Did you see those prices.
Get the Tvandnav2go module and buy yourself a 25$ rearview camera off ebay and it'll do the trick...
