Replica M3 Fender - Emblem

This question is for those who have these fenders or for those who can give me advice.

What exactly did you put/suggest to put in the open spot for the M3 emblem. I DO NOT want to put any thing M3 related since I do not own a M3. But I have see a member here (forgot where) - put a M logo emblem in its place.

Thank you kindly in advance.

I would leave it like that or black it out if you have supporting mods.

But honestly if I were to do it again I prob would have shaved the tab holes that the side vent grill goes in and just left the port hole thing and had no grill or light

After doing some research - I finally bought them from http://www.umnitza.com/e92-m3-style-...92-p-6022.html

Ask for Tim.

Granted - I have read positive and negative comments about them - I had an easy time with them and with the right body shop the fenders look next to perfect after installed.

I think the fenders look close to perfect after installed. My body shop did a great job.

For those who have already installed these fenders I understand you need to use the M3 specific washer bottle that has the notch to clear the side vents

Is that the only part of the M3 washer system that needs to be purchased?

I did a comparo between the P/N's for the M3 E92 system & my 328 E92 - everything is the same except for the Tank itself, the Filler Pipe, & a Vent Cap

I will need to get the M3 Tank version for use with headlight cleaning obviously, but do I also need the M3 filler pipe?

#61 66 8 041 172 M3 Windshield/Headlamp Cleaning Container
#61 66 8 042 866 M3 Filler Pipe for Wash Container
#61 66 7 903 800 M3 Washer Container Vent Cap

I'm assuming that all the other components pumps/strainers/leveling switch will simply swap over from my old tank to new tank PnP?

I emailed Steven & ordered (2) sets of the 'M' style badge.

He actually sells this style, other styles for same application, & many other badges as well, on eBay.

His eBay ID is 'saint2uk' - here is a link to his auction for the side grill 'M' badges:
