Exclusive vs. Velocity CSL reps
How do you compare the two, especially in quality and weight?

exclusives have a little more detail around the lugs (stamped writing like OEM), the Velocitys are smooth in that area. there's a thread around somewhere that shows a pic of those differences. both brands seem to have good feedback here.

Try to PM Garrett (screen named: ExclusiveAlloysE90), he replies like ultra fast. I bought a set of used CSLs from him back in early September....

We are running a special on the Exclusive wheels - they do have more detail, come with 1 year warranty on finish, weigh slightly more than velocity, but are very solid construction. We sell both, special running on Exclusive wheels.

Exclusive...
The offsets are et30 all around and they fit perfect. Eric @ Supreme sold me mine and he has excellent customer service. I'm still selling mine though. I need something ULTRA-light for autoX and I'm considering something in the 17" range. PM me for special pricing. aaron

Our wheels also come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty on the finish.
Also, if you at the rear wheels of the Exclusive's, you'll see that the concavity is more akin to the concavity of our front wheels... Exclusive's (from supremepower thread) Our Velocity Motoring VB3's

I'm not impressed with the quality and durability of the finish of the Velocity CSLs. But I must say I love the look.
Mine have barely 3000 miles on them and they seem to chip and scratch much easier than the OEM wheel paint, they were delivered with thin spots in the clear coat on some of the spokes (probably fail and look like crap at 1 year and 1 day), stained with the use of common tire dressing and simply waxing them rubbed right through the finish on a couple of spokes. IMO, the one year warranty doesn't mean squat either-the seller quit responding to me on my finish issues when I brought them to their attention. Nice. A decent wheel and look for the money, but I am going to upgrade to a higher quality wheel and probably more unique look next year. The Velocity wheels look much better IMO without the detail and deeper look in the rear.

Who did you buy your wheels from, was it from us? If you noticed any sort of problems with the quality of the finish of the wheels, when you first recieved them, you should have contacted the seller right away. -Don |
