N54 335i Quaife LSD Diff

As per previous posts. Parting out my car.

I have my LSD for sale. I will need your original diff or even swap out entire diff casings as I have no original diff to reolace this with.

Im looking for £650 plus original diff swap.

I would get pics up but I cant as you can expect.

He needs to find out the part number of his diff for people to inquire if this fits.

Second, his prices are way too high on ( IC and other parts) too expensive for trade in price.

example £600 for P exhuast + oem ( which cost £1xx on ebay) pushes the exhuast to 7XX, someone recently sold his P exhuast alot less.

When you add things up, it just doesn't seem like a good deal anymore.

this will teach him to keep old parts to part out in the future lol

just my 2p
I didn't think anything of the exhaust or intercooler...

But a quaife at £500 plus swap isn't bad at all!

The problem is that it's not easy to calculate the rest of the costs and figuring out fitment isn't easy either.

I would have thought 'everyone' is interested, but few will be able to effectively get a handle of the total costs and logisitics involved in making the swap happen.

I think it's a good opportunity for someone though, I would have thought the total cost will work out at something like £12-1500 for anyone lucky enough to have a compatible car.

Shame. Birds stole all my old parts when I had the work done so not rwally my bad.

Also standard exhausts rott at peoples houses. They never sell on ebay. Neither does an original intercooler. Basucally once off they are scrap. So 400 quid off plus some scraps better than full price.

Just for anyonr wondering. Its not rocket science to work out what car it fits. Lol.

It fits any 335i at from 06 to 08. After that the parts changed.
It will also fit an mt. But will change the final drive a tad.

Swapping is easy as I would change the entire rear casings. I can do this in less than a few hours. For free. So the cost of this diff is 500 essentially.

Im going to keep the diff now and use it as a selling point. Swapping diffs is pretty easy but seems allot dont know that so not worth advertising.

Cheers for any interest.

Unless CC is talking about swapping the whole rear axle, which is what I THINK Birds do now anyway?

The diff is drop in. Its just like any othwr diff. The rear axle doesny need removing. Lol. The diff unbolts from the prop and drive shafts then from the axle. Then is swapped. Its easy. But its staying now anyway. May keep allot of the parts as when selling here im reminded of vulchers. Lol. Things cost money. If you want it half price then your dreaming. It is what it is or it just stays on the car as the time removing the oarts isnt even worth the offers iv had.
