No "Black" Color option for M235i?

I noticed this was the case on the Msport 4 series too - you can only get the metallic "black sapphire" not just the "black" version available to non-Msport models. Seems a bit odd, can anyone confirm if this really is the case, or can you get one ordered in non-metallic black at no cost? I'm not a fan of the green/black look from the metallic paint.

no valencia orange for M235i either...

also you can get oyster/dark interior for the sport line but not for M sport or M235i.

Cmon BMW even the Mini has more choices!!!

I had my mind set for EBII with Oyster/Black and so far it seems like that won't happen.

All Oyster would be too much, IMO

That's odd because I'm sure the M135i allows this combo. Then again, Valencia orange is available for it too

No Jet Black ?

Blasphemy ! Both of my E92s were JB....I was considering it for the M235.

It's nice because that has traditionally been a no cost option - just like Alpine White.

Funny how we are seeing more and more of this from BMW. Like the ZF transmission being "standard" and the MT being a no cost option. We MT drivers are now paying for the AT (since it is included in the MSRP), and you are now paying for nearly every color of paint as well.

A JB, MT M235 should be 42k - not 44. Just my $.02.

JB is only beautiful when the car is brand new. No matter how much time and effort you put into it, the paint will be full of swirls and look like crap. I don't think it's selling all that well anymore and I think they will stop offering it all together in any model

The Porter Cable random orbital is necessary.

Be sad to see if that is indeed the case....

Oyster coloured leather (off white) with black panelling everywhere else and I think black piping and stitching.

Guess I'll just stick with alpine white then. Boring, I know, but that's the only non-metallic paint color now.

Jet black will always be a color option, it's got to be one of the most popular colors chosen...I find it unfathomable that BMW isn't offering it on the M235i though. That being said, you are absolutely right about the paint being full of swirls...My 08 335i was completely full of them when I just sold it, that's part of the reason I went to mineral gray this time.

Nothing that can't be buffed out or anything. I mean any color of paint will have the same swirls.. You just can't see them as easily. Bought a Griots Garage dual action orbital, one of the best purchases I have ever made.
