Wrong CD song names after 27.02.01 update

Hi,

I had my Nov '06 E92 software updated to 27.02.01 last Tuesday. After then, I realized that the CD song names appearing on the bottom of the screen (in the Entertainment-CD view) are wrong. Let's say I'm playing Black Eyed Peas CD but screen is showing John Legend songs names. I changed CDs - still the same problem, always John Legend songs names. When I dropped my car to the service for software update, John Legend CD was inside the CD player, could it be the reason?

Any thoughts/ suggestions?

Thanks,
Ucan

I had the same exact problem. Took it in for the update and left a burned cd in there and those song titles were displaying no matter what cd was in. I actually forgot what i did to fix it, but i think i either did a "reset" by holding down both eject buttons, or i ejected all my cd's/dvd's from both drives and played a new cd from the nav dvd player. Maybe i did both. Either way, it will clear up if u just keep messing with it for a little while.

I tried both suggestions: Reset the I-drive and insert a CD into navigation and several other combinations. Nothing worked.

Any other suggestions? Now that I know the CD song names are wrong, I keep on looking at the screen and it drives me nuts

Thanks,

Ucan

Ucan, did you resolve this? I have exactly the same problem after leaving a CD in during an upgrade.

Unfortunately not!

I still have the same problem after 2 weeks and several reboots / different CDs etc.

Anyone other suggestion?

Bump!

No other suggestions? I hope I would not need to take my car for a new Progman update just to fix this.

Update:

I took my car to the service. Apparently, there is a Service Bulletin for the same issue. They say they have fixed it. I will test it for a couple of days to be sure.
