Anomalies after coding

I've already contacted v12 about these issues but I need some help to see if others are experiencing the same issues.

Enabling the close trunk from key FOB/driver-side button, I've noticed when the trunk is closed using the foot/kick method, the beeping is much louder. In fact it's so loud, the sound is now distorted.

Enabling turn signals in the HUD, I've noticed the analog/digital fuel gauges don't show the same value. The digital fuel gauge was approx. a quarter tank off compared to the analog gauge.

This is with a 2014 M5. You're help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

fuel gauge same... just saw it the other day.. how do you know its tied to turn signal flashers?

beeping on the trunk I never even noticed, because I never used the kick to close method, but it is loud, but not distorted or annoying.

At this point it's something v12 speculated about. I'm not convinced after looking at pictures of a new F13(?) M6 with the same issue. I just want to make sure before asking the service department to check it out.

Ok, so as unbelievable as it sounds, I may have found a fix. I reset the iDrive in ignition mode and both issues were fixed! Maybe v12 can provide some insight?

Turn on the car without holding the brake. Press and hold the volume button until iDrive reboots. Done.

Sorry for the delay, just saw this.

I could not offer an explanation though: those things are in different modules from the head unit (iDrive).

Great job.

Yep, just checked closing the trunk with the foot today, no more distortion. Go figure.
